Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs have come to make a new history in computer technologies when he unveiled the world's thinnest and lightest notebook up to date called MacBook Air which is only a 3/4 inch thick at rear and less than 1/4 inch thick at fronts and side. Wondering how much it weighs? The answer is 3 pounds and prices starts at $1799. Uhuh, mind that I use the $$$, change it back into RM and you will get a price range of RM5500-RM6000. The Airbook is also featured with a 13.3-inh backlit LCD screen display making it an energy saver. It also performs as a touchscreen much like the i-Phone. Critics claim that the keypads are among the best in the market, comes second after The ThinkPad by Lenovo. However, there are the cons, the battery is built in and can only withstand 5 hours of usage in between of charging. After one or two years of usage, you will have to send it back to Apple to replace the battery after it wears out. This will surely cause a problem to users who have to use it in long flight hours or an all-day computing usage. There is also a limited space of ports available. So what's the verdict? It's gorgeous and functional, with a great keyboard and screen. Yes, it does make concessions that seem to hurt the users that need the product the most, the frequent traveler, but it doesn't compromise where it matters the most, the keyboard and screen. It does make one ask just who is the MacBook Air for? It's too expensive for a first computer, and is too limiting as an only computer. But it may just be the best second computer ever. That's probably just what Steve Jobs had in mind! Well he was the first person to take out the floppy disk and PC card slot from computer production. Critics claim?- another job well done!
